Thanh Minh Nguyen, M.D., Ph.D. is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He received an Associate of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Santa Ana College with Highest Honors and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Cum Laude and with Departmental Honors. He went on to complete Medical School and Graduate School in the Medical Scientist Program at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. After Medical School, Dr. Nguyen attended Baylor College of Medicine for his residency and fellowship.
Dr. Nguyen has a strong interest in research, specifically related to clinical approaches to improve diabetes self-care of children with diabetes mellitus with poor glycemic control. He has written several peer-reviewed journal publications and presented on topics related to pediatric diabetes and has also published two book chapters titled Precocious Puberty and Delayed Puberty – both published in Adolescent Medicine Today: A Guide to Caring for the Adolescent Patient 2012. Prior to joining All About Kids & Families Medical Center, Dr. Nguyen worked as a Pediatric Endocrinology Consultant at Nemours Children’s Clinic and Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Nguyen is married to Dr. Ann Huynh Nguyen and they have three children.
